Farming and fashion are not usually in the same sentence but I felt right at home as each beautiful model was introduced by Mistress of Ceremonies, Elle Spinner and their stories revealed the battles that they had fought and won. Garlic a Super Food
I am not a doctor, I am a chemical free farmer who believes that by incorporating garlic into your diet you could improve your health! What have you got to loose?
1. Garlic is one of the top ten cancer fighting foods. Allicin, is the active ingredient released when garlic is crushed, minced, chewed or juiced. Before consuming the garlic it is best to allow the cut or crushed garlic to be exposed to the air for at least 10 minutes in order for the compounds to
become fully activated. Use two raw garlic cloves daily to reduce the risk of cancer, due to its Anti-Carcinogenic properties. It helps prevent cancerous compounds from forming and developing into tumors. It also inhibits the growth of tumors.
2. Garlic is a proven anti-oxidant. Garlic contains a high amount of anti-oxidant. The
antioxidants destroy free radicals and reduce overall oxidative stress. Free radicals can damage DNA and cell membranes. High levels of oxidative stress have been associated with many diseases and conditions. Antioxidants are also beneficial for preventing types of cancer.
3. Garlic has been used successfully for promoting cardiovascular health even among those who are having arterial or heart problems. Garlic dilates blood vessels to lower blood pressure, removes triglycerides, dissolves internal clots, and prevents oxidation of important lipids that lead to cellular destruction. All without side effects, of course.
